VIP Weddings/Ballina Blossoms are excited to offer the position of a part-time florist in a friendly, exciting and fast growing business in the North Mayo/West Sligo area.

Requirements;

• • Some floristry experience in a retail or event floristry setting, with the ability to create bouquets, arrangements and installations

• • Be able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks, foreseeing challenges and having quick problem-solving skills

• • Excellent customer service skills and be friendly, polite, outgoing, positive and pro-active, and enjoy seeing a productive result to their work

• • A genuine interest in, and passion for, flowers, design and trends and a willingness to learn about the industry and new trends and skills

• • The candidate should have an acute attention to detail, a creative flair, be imaginative and self-motivated

• • Candidate should be able to work as part of a team and follow instruction, as well as use their own initiative, be flexible and willing to adapt to suit the needs of the business and team

• • Position is part-time, and will include some weekend work, with a possibility of additional hours at busy times so flexibility is essential.

• • Fluent written and spoken English. Some Computer literacy skills

• • Own transport essential due to location and possibility of some off-site work. Full clean Irish license an advantage
